The reason that bridge designed into arch shape so as to help Gondola to pass the bridge easily. In particular, the gondolier who sails the boat by standing on the end of the Gondola is too high to pass it. Therefore, the engineer designs arch bridge for giving convenience to the gondolier not able to regard bridges as the one of the barriers when travelling on the canals.
